Every movie needs people to write the story, guide how it gets made, and bring the characters to life on screen. In the film business, these people together are simply called talent.
Talent generally refers to writers, directors, and actors, the creative people whose work the audience directly experiences. Talent usually makes up the Above the Line part of a movie's budget, and is often represented by a Talent Agent who negotiates their deals.
